Get your wild on.
We love the great outdoors.
Wide open skies and rugged landscapes, the whisper of the wind in the trees and the magic of watching the stars come out…these are the experiences that make us feel alive. They relieve our stress and nourish our souls. And here at the Land Trust, we want to make sure that everyone — regardless of age or ability — can find wild places close to home to recreate safely. That’s why we are always working to increase public access to lands that we hold in trust as well as to develop new inroads into lands that are already public.
Public Access
Increasing safe and environmentally sustainable access to conserved lands is a priority for the Northern California Regional Land Trust. Each easement or preserve has unique challenges and needs, and we partner closely with landowners and other agencies to develop, fund, and implement plans as part of our long-term care for the lands we protect.
Trail Building
Recreational trails are channels to new places and adventures, and fuel our wonder and appreciation for the natural world. We believe that people innately want to protect what they have come to love, and we see well-designed trail systems as an important investment in grassroots conservation and cultivating a land stewardship ethic in the communities we serve.
Show a trail some love.
