If you want to support the work of the Northern California Regional Land Trust, there are many ways to get involved. Use the menu to the right to learn more about opportunities that align with your interests. We look forward to getting to know you!

Since founding in 1990 as Parks and Preserves Foundation, the Northern California Regional Land Trust has helped landowners and communities to save the open spaces they love, protecting working and wild lands forever. Serving Butte, Glenn, and Tehama County, the Trust, along with volunteers, also supports ageless environmental education, hosts community events to celebrate land and the region's deeply rooted stewardship, farming and ranching heritage, and works to increase public access to wild spaces and outdoor recreation opportunities.

Attend an event.

There’s something for everyone, from farm dinners and al fresco wine receptions curated by local culinary talents, to day hikes and educational field trips into the distinctive habitats of the Northern Sierra foothills and Sacramento River Valley.

Volunteer.

Volunteering can take many forms, from assisting with assembling event packets or supporting field trips, to serving on our Board of Directors, where we’re always looking for active and retired professionals with a passion for land conservation.

Explore individual giving.

Giving is a simple and impactful way to advance land conservation in the North State. Whether you’re foregoing your caramel latte for the day to give $5 or leaving a bequest from your estate, every gift supports land protection, environmental education, and recreation.

Explore corporate sponsorship.

Businesses are the lifeblood of rural economies, and critical partners in ensuring that the North State remains a place where talented folks want to live, work, and play. Our partners leverage product donations, staff volunteer hours, or profit sharing to save open and wild lands.

Join our team.

Small but mighty. That’s how we describe the lean, efficient, and multi-talented crew that gets things done around here. If you are passionate about our mission, solution-oriented, and willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle an ever-changing workload, look for opportunities to join us.

It isn’t a question of now or later.

To protect the landscapes we love, the choice is often now or not at all.
